Dietent

The dietent are moss-like plants. They are non-vascular, and absorb anything that doesn't move. In some cases, huge groups of dietent have come together and were able to eat moving things, consuming them like quicksand. Not much is known about them. Most herbivores eat them.

So far, the Dietent have not attracted many scientists, making the few who are not able to learn as much as they can.
